At Quesos Cerrón we understand milk as a complex raw material with the potential to become a cult product such as cheese. In order to obtain representative matured and cured cheeses, we do not standardize the milk, we separate it according to the time of the year and the feeding of the cattle to make the different ranges. The values of sustainability and environmental conservation are always an essential part of the project. The methods of organic agriculture and livestock farming are followed as a philosophy of life, in which the land must be taken care of for future generations and not thinking about the present. Low milk yields in the livestock, denote an animal happiness that leads to the production of special cheeses. We work with our own Murcian-Granadine goat’s milk for organic products, we compost the garbage and waste from the livestock so that they can be incorporated back into the soil.
